SAFOL23 E5 ETHOXYLATE - SASOL is a biodegradable nonionic derived from SAFOL 23 Alcohol and ethoxylated to an average of five moles of ethylene oxide. It is liquid at room temperature and essentially 100% active. The narrow range version of this ethoxylate made using Sasol Chemicals patented NOVEL catalyst technology is also available.

The product is water soluble and is used across industrial and chemical manufacturing markets. It functions as a pharmaceutical excipient and supports pharmaceutical applications, while also serving as a humectant, lubricant, antistatic agent, plasticizer, mold release agent, and intermediate. Additional applications include use in adhesives, coatings, inks, plastics, metal working fluids, personal care products, ceramics, and wood treating chemicals, reflecting its broad utility in chemical and industrial manufacturing.
