Fast viscosity build-up of XANTHAN GUM 16 FED - JBL
XANTHAN GUM 16 FED - JBL is a granulated xanthan gum offering excellent dispersibility and fast hydration. The product provides significantly faster viscosity build-up than regular powder without developing lumps even under very poor agitation (Figure 1).
Figure 1: Difference in the hydration rate between XANTHAN GUM 16 FED - JBL and standard Xanthan Gum. With XANTHAN GUM 16 FED - JBL more than 80% of the final viscosity is achieved already after a stirring time of only 5 minutes (Brookfield LVTD, spindle 3, 60 rpm).
Packaging & Availability
- Packaging Information
Available in 15 kg corrugated cardboard boxes with a polyethylene inline bag.
Storage & Handling
- Shelf Life
- 3 years
- Storage and Shelf Life Information
- XANTHAN GUM 16 FED - JBL should be stored in a cool (max. 30°C) and dry (max. 70% rel. humidity) place in closed containers. For this product, Jungbunzlauer guarantees a shelf life of 3 years from the date of manufacture when stored under these conditions.
- In its dry form, XANTHAN GUM 16 FED - JBL is resistant to microbial degradation. The use of a preservative is recommended when solutions of xanthan gum are to be stored for more than 24 hours.
