It offers an excellent balance between hydrophilic and hydrophobic character; it is our most hydrophobic glycol ether that still maintains complete water solubility. This is our P-series product that most closely matches the properties of Butyl CELLOSOLVE™ glycol ether. Its primary use is in cleaning products, where its fast evaporation rate and excellent ability to solubilize organic soils makes it useful in a wide variety of formulation systems. It is an excellent choice in glass cleaners and all-purpose cleaners, especially in combination with selected PM-series glycol ethers.

DOWANOL DPNB GLYCOL ETHER - DOW is a slow-evaporating, hydrophobic solvent with excellent surface tension-lowering ability and coalescing properties. It is highly efficient in water-borne latex systems, contributing to high latex film quality due to its polymer plasticizing efficiency, large molecular size, strong partitioning to the polymer phase, and relatively slow evaporation rate. Compatible with many resin types, also excels in cleaning applications, either alone or when blended with other products like DOWANOLâ„¢ DPM glycol ether, making it effective for removing oils and greases in cold metal cleaning.

BIO-SOFT S-101 - STEPAN is a liquid surfactant with cationic properties, based on benzenesulfonic acid, dodecyl-, branched. It is biodegradable and suitable for use in detergents, car washes, dishwash detergents, hard surface cleaners, and industrial cleaning applications.

BIO-SOFT N23-3 - STEPAN is part of the BIO-SOFT N23 series, which consists of high-activity nonionic surfactants.
