DOWANOL DPNB GLYCOL ETHER - DOW is a slow-evaporating, hydrophobic solvent with excellent surface tension-lowering ability and coalescing properties. It is highly efficient in water-borne latex systems, contributing to high latex film quality due to its polymer plasticizing efficiency, large molecular size, strong partitioning to the polymer phase, and relatively slow evaporation rate. Compatible with many resin types, also excels in cleaning applications, either alone or when blended with other products like DOWANOLâ„¢ DPM glycol ether, making it effective for removing oils and greases in cold metal cleaning.
