PROGLYDE DMM - DOW is a unique propylene oxide-based solvent that is aprotic, lacking hydroxyl functionality. This makes it relatively inert and suitable for proton-sensitive systems, such as water-based polyurethane coatings. It can also be used as an azeotroping solvent for esterification reactions. SORBITOL 70% USP FCC, is superior humectant in a wide range of products, including confections, cosmetics, and to certain beverages and foods. Because of its sweet but non- cariogenic nature, it is used in sugar free foods, in dentifrices, and in pharmaceuticals. It is also used as a plasticizer, stabilizer and as a raw material in the manufacture of sorbitan ester/polysorbate and polyurethanes.
