DOWANOL DPNB GLYCOL ETHER - DOW is a slow-evaporating, hydrophobic solvent with excellent surface tension-lowering ability and coalescing properties. It is highly efficient in water-borne latex systems, contributing to high latex film quality due to its polymer plasticizing efficiency, large molecular size, strong partitioning to the polymer phase, and relatively slow evaporation rate.
