  • TRILON CA FOOD GRADE - BASF is designed to control trace metal ions which may be responsible for catalyzing discoloration, oxidation, turbidity, corrosion, texture deterioration, the development of off-flavor and rancidity, or other deteriorative changes in food and beverage products during processing or storage.
  • TRILON CA FOOD GRADE - BASF is often more effective at overcoming deteriorative changes in foods and beverages than other types of sequestrant additives (i.e. polyphosphates and citric acid.)
  • FDA approved applications include carbonated beverages, dressings and sauces (i.e. mayonnaise, French dressing and pourable dressings), fish and shellfish, fruits and vegetables, pickled vegetables, potato products, shortening, fats and oils, vitamin stabilization, and animal feeds.
